We remember... both humans and animals.
ReplyDeleteMany heroes have passed this earth, thank goodness for them! Speaking of animals heroes, I saw on our local news the other night that during an evening in the downtown district, a squadron of mounted police were patrolling. A drunken man ran up to a police horse and punched the more beast in the face. Luckily, the steed remained calm, but it could have been a disaster for the policeman, and all the others around. The man was arrested. THANK GOODNESS!
