Adopt a Shelter Dog month in the USA!

Hi everyone did you know that this month is adopt a Shelter Dog Month in the USA?The ASPCA are trying to raise awareness of adopting shelter dogs.
So Please Join the ASPCA by pledging to Always Adopt a Shelter Dog! and help to spread the word that the most amazing pets are the ones we adopt!


Even though this is based in the USA this is still a great message to get out to everyone....Adopt not Shop!

    A solid message! When Mary-Ellen & I were in the only 'pet shop' in town there was a 30-something yr old bloke there looking to buy 2 kittens. They was $100. EACH & I so wanted to tell him he could adopt from our Feral Cat group for 1/2 the price. Unfortunately the owner of pet shop was standing with us & chatting so I had to keep quiet. The man was emotional as he had put his cat of many years to sleep a few days prior...why he did not go to local Shelter or come to us was beyond me. With so many homeless 4 leggeds I wonder why people still buy animals from pet shops/
