Speedy's New Harness!

I decided to get Speedy a harness,this was the best on I could get for the time being with out spending a fortune.I had to alter the bit that goes around the neck as it was twice a wide with Velcro and the safety clip which was not good for a rabbit as the have shorter necks than a cat and this one was suitable for both,so it is narrower and now does up on the side and to the back!Once he has gotten used to it he will be coming on little outtings on a leash.

    You look really good in that harness, Speedy! Mommy used to bring Looppy out for walks in a harness too. Looppy really enjoyed being outside and Mommy made sure to scan the surroundings constantly to make sure there are no doggies or kitties who might frighten or harm Looppy. :)

    Awww.... Speedy! You look AWESOME in your new harness. It looks like it fits nicely too. You'll be surprised how easy it is to get used to them. Love the green too!

      its called Walk n Vest in an extra large for cats and rabbits,this was the second type I tried the first one was a different brand went back as when I ordered it the packaging said dwarf rabbits and was a large well Speedy is no Dwarf.though I had to alter this one as the fastening and clasp was wider and all under the chin which would be fine on a cat as they have longer necks but on Speedy it was restricting him and uncomfortable so out came my sewing kit and I undid the stitching cut of one side of the strap and lengthend the other side move the velcro to one sid on his should and moved the safety clasp on to the back and re stitched the binder tape tried on Speedy and it was a much better fit and more comfortable.I got it from amazon.co.uk it was about £6,xx Rachel

    Looking stylish Speedy! I tried to put Nibblet's old harness on the new ratty boys, but they were too fat for it. It was always too big for Nibblet.

    SPEED BOAT! I had a little party yesterday and was unable to come to the computer, but am I ever smiling to see you in your new harness! You look fantastic, and mummy did a great job of adjusting it for you! Now you can accompany mum and dad on the beach.....the first ever BEACH BUNNY of your kind!

    Looks as if Speedy isn't too upset about the harness. You need to have the camera at the ready when you take him on his outings.
