ReplyDeleteRach, I am getting there with those decorations. The Jurisdiction of the Eastern Orthodox Christian Church I attend is on the old Julian Calendar, so we are thirteen days behind the rest of the world, who uses the Gregorian Calendar for Christian Holidays, including Christmas. I try to not put up decorations too early because we celebrate the Nativity of Christ on January 7, which on the OLD Calendar is December 25.
Thank you for the encouragement to decorate. I probably wouldn't if it weren't for you! Not to mention my mother told me my front porch needs lights. I found two yard signs the other day in Lawton when my father in law was at the Indian Hospital getting his colonoscopy. I went to Goodwill looking for decorations and found two brand new wooden yard signs for Christmas for almost nothing. My mom thought they were cute and then told me put lights on my porch. Getting on, ya'll, slowly but surely!!!

DeleteSpeedy .. I got my tree up yesterday AND the lights, but I still don't have my ornaments up.. ^_^;; .. But I do have a bun at the top of the tree looking down at me disapprovingly so I suspect everything will be up tomorrow. :D
