Just a quick Saturday post!We have a visitor!

Hi everybody just a quick post this Saturday to tell you that we have a visitor in Speedy's garden.Which is exciting to say the least.
We have a Hedgehog staying in the garden in Speedy's shelter hut so we have filled it hay and some old furry slippers cut open as they like furry stuff and put a front door panel too,he or she sleeps a lot but does eat some of the food we put down,I say eats some of the food as a black cat seems to found away into the garden from next door through hubby's mums garden and keeps stealing it so we are going to do something about that today as I don't want any cats coming into the garden.Just when I thought we had finished cat proofing and we find a weak spot.Well we'll put a stop to that,we have to keep Speedy safe and the Hedgehog safe too.
We'll keep you posted !

  3. Awwww. A hedgepiggy! Whee had a couple of those in our garden in the Summer when Mummy had chopped up lots of bushes and left the trimmings in a big pile. She was so worried about disturbing them whee had the trimmings there all Summer until the hedgehogs moved on. Have you named it? Mummy called our two Oliver Twist (because he always seemed to want more food!) and Rumple (because his spines looked crinkly and stuck up all over the place!)

  7. Awww, you have a little sanctuary from cats, there, Rach. All the little critters can go and be safe from the fanged assassins.

Oh its not a pet its a wild hedgehog that has decided to stay with us after being saved from being run over as it was in the road, hubby found it down the street and it was nearly time for the school run and took it home as it shouldn't have been out when it was and was a bit sleepy.but he's safe now and can hibernate in peace till the spring
