Update on Speedy's war wounds

Here's the update on Speedy. As you can see the wound is bigger than we first thought,it goes all the way to the inside of his leg as well but I couldn't photograph all of it.Anyway today he has a bit more spirit in him and he's eating not quite as much as normal but that's probably to be expected all though teatime he had all his greens which is the first time since coming home. This afternoon I had him down in the kitchen for just over an hour.he did a little Binky and did a little zip through his tunnel and mooched around up and down the kitchen then had a little snooze and he's done his toilet business.Speedy is fighting a bit when we give him his meds so He's improving.Tomorrow he has his post op check and then the stitches out after 10 days.Thank you for all for your kind thoughts and messages you have all been so kind.I will keep you updated on Speedy's progress

  2. Wow he's doing great - eating well, pooping, hating his meds! Big hug, Speedy and Family!!!

How big is this cat? Speedy's a good-size rabbit, isn't he? Like at least normal-cat size?

Is the cat's family keeping him INSIDE now?

    1. Yes Speedy is about the size of a normal cat that probably saved him and been quick. No the family are not keeping the cat in as they don't have to in the uk cats are classed as feral and have the right to roam and do as they please and the owners are not responible for the actins of their cats but I am in the process of cat proof ing the garden by the time I'm finished it will be bunny fort knox

  10. Oh, my poor poor Speedy. Mum, keep watching those poops and push the hay. Let him have his way but make sure he leaves those stitches alone. Binkies are great. Love a happy binkie bunny! Lots of cheek rubs and ear scratches for the most kickass bunny in the UK!!
