Speedy's vet update

Speedy went to the vets yesterday and had his stitches taken out but Speedy the naughty boy only had 6 left and when I asked him where are the rest Speedy replied "well they were loose and tickling me and I thought it must be o.k now so I pulled them out" and I had to laugh you can't fault his logic. This morning how ever the scab had disappeared too...hmm..... so now the wound is just a pinky red scar and bald so now we wait for the fur to grow back.

So what do you all think?
a fat and full Speedy!

  1. Sage was generous like that, she liked to save the Vet work.. or she just wanted to see him more.. one of the two. She ended up getting staples after the first two times. :D

I'm so very happy to see Speedy is feeling better and almost back to being his usual silly dervish on four paws!

  5. Umbra didn't like the stitches after her spay. Scared me half to death when I caught her pulling them out.

And about the hair, Umbra's just now growing back!

Hope Speedy continues his speedy recovery (no pun intended), and avoids such injuries in the future (but with such a cheeky bunny who knows what trouble he will get into)

  7. Dear Speedy, I just found out about your injury. I am so sorry. You do what Mummy says and get really completely totally well. Tale it easy. We all wish you well. Your Mummy sounds like she has a really cool head and is tough and sturdy. Mummys get really upset when their bunns are injured so you see she gets rest too.

  9. Hey Speedy. We came over after we saw the beautiful scarf you sent Nellie. That's a very naughty cat who gave you that ouchie! We're glad your ouchie has healed so well. Our bunny brother, Bernie, didn't like his stitches either (after his foot was amputated)!

  17. Fat, full Speedy with no scab and no stitches is the BESTEST EVER! Hug that big white bun for me! They are the bestest! Seeing Speedy makes me want to go home and hug my Luna, and all my bunnies, but Luna and Speedy remind me so much of each other! :)
